Protest Rally for Safer Nuclear Waste Storage at San Onofre   San Clemente is now the official location of the largest depository of stranded nuclear waste in the entire country.  Attend a protest rally on Monday, Oct. 8 at the Belly Up Live Music and Performance Hall, 143 S. Cedros Ave., Solana Beach, 7 PM.  For an enjoyable evening of expert speakers, food, and  live entertainment, RSVP to Chelsi@samuellawrencefoundation.org  You can take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from SJC at 5:24, or from Oceanside at 6:01 arriving Solana Beach at 6:20 (3 blocks from Belly Up).  Or you can take the Coaster train from Oceanside at 5:41, arriving Solana Beach at 6:01 (3 blocks from Belly Up).  Or you can take the 6:27PM from SJC (or 7:04 from Oceanside) arriving Solana Beach at 7:22.  Going home, you can take the Surfliner from Solana Beach at 9:33 PM, arriving Oceanside 9:55 or SJC 10:28 PM.  Be sure to check the train schedules!
