May 2020 Events

On May 28 there will be a special Edison CEP (Community Engagement Panel) meeting devoted to discussing of what might happen at the San Onofre Nuclear Waste Dump, now home to 1,773 tons of stranded uranium and plutonium scheduled to remain here until 2050 or longer.  Independent experts recommended by the National Academy of Sciences will analyze the credibility and consequences of nine possible worst-case scenarios.  This meeting is the result of a public petition signed by many of you several years ago requesting full disclosure of what might happen in a terrorist attack or natural disaster.  Stay tuned for details.
